This vintage Bora Bora sofa was designed by Axel Enthoven for Leolux in Holland during the 1980s. A refined example of Dutch furniture design, the piece combines compact proportions with a generous seating area and exceptional build quality.
The sofa features thick leather and Alcantara upholstery, supported by a solid wood and metal frame that gives the piece a substantial feel despite its relatively compact dimensions. Its low profile and carefully designed proportions create a relaxed and inviting appearance, while the raised legs lift the base from the floor, giving the seat a distinctive floating effect.
Part of the Bora Bèta series, the design demonstrates Axel Enthoven’s ability to combine comfort, functionality and sculptural simplicity. Its timeless character allows it to work beautifully in contemporary, minimalist and vintage interiors.
