Modern Mac Gee Library by Philippe Starck for Baleri, Italy 2000’s

The Mac Gee Library was designed by Philippe Starck for Baleri in Italy during the 2000’s. With its light and dynamic appearance, the piece combines a minimalist structure with a strong architectural presence.

Made from matte black epoxy powder-coated steel, it features a central upright and five shelves with gradually decreasing depths. The modular design allows two or more units to be stacked together, creating a larger and distinctive bookcase.

Its clean silhouette and understated black finish make the Mac Gee Library a versatile piece for both modern and contemporary interiors.
